Cardiac tumors are an uncommon diagnosis with a nonspecific clinical presentation. They can be histologically classified as malignant and benign, these being the most prevalent. A 62-year-old female presents with dyspnea associated with weight loss and fever for the last year. Echocardiography showed a nonhomogeneous mass almost filling the left atrium completely and prolapsing through the mitral valve. MRI showed an absent perfusion mass that is hyperintense in T1 and T2 sequences.
