Ebstein’s anomaly, atrial septal defect, heart failureAbstract
Congenital heart diseases in adults are diagnosed with increasing frequency, this is due to an underdiagnosis of these pathologies in the prenatal and neonatal stages, in addition to an important advance in cardiac imaging studies such as echocardiogram and cardiac magnetic resonance. Ebstein´s anomaly is a rare cause of right heart failure and thrombotic events in young patients. In this article, a brief review of the pathology is carried out and the case of an adult patient with Ebstein’s anomaly with atrial septal defect, the clinical approach that was given as well as the results are presented.
